Description
This dataset comprises survey data collected within a research project examining inter-organisational technology transfer and sustainability performance. The final sample includes 523 valid firm-level responses obtained from organisations operating across multiple countries. Data were collected between July 2024 and April 2025 using a structured online questionnaire administered in English, German, and Chinese.
The dataset documents respondent-level and organisational characteristics, including survey language, job position, industry sector, years of work experience, headquarters location, firm type, firm size, corporate affiliation, geographical sales markets, and receipt of state support. In addition, it contains detailed information on technology transfer arrangements, including partner types and forms of technology transfer.
The dataset further includes responses to multi-item measurement scales operationalising constructs in the research model related to technology transfer processes and sustainability outcomes. Both categorical variables and scaled items are present. All responses were fully anonymised prior to archiving to ensure confidentiality.
Two Excel files are provided: one containing responses in their original survey languages, and a second file with all variables and item labels translated into English.
