(a) The RHI radar scans were collected using the Chilbolton Advanced Meteorological Radar (CAMRa) at 75m range resolution. The radar has a 0.28 degree beamwidth. More details on the radar are available from the Chilbolton Facility website www.chilbolton.stfc.ac.uk/.

(b) The Doppler spectra profile from 1238 UTC 17 February 2016 was measured using the 35GHz Copernicus radar at Chilbolton.
