Description

This dataset is made up of 166 survey responses from parents and teachers linked to seven primary schools. The survey was conducted online. It gathers data about attitudes towards creating a more LGBTQ+ inclusive environment in primary schools. The data include demographic information, namely sexuality, gender, religious affiliation and whether respondents knew family/friends who were part of the LGBTQ+ community. Participants responded to 20 statements using a five-point scale from ‘strongly agree’ to ‘strongly disagree’ to examine their views on specific issues to do with making the school LGBTQ+ inclusive. There was an open-ended comment box for respondents to add further views.
